I made a quick trip to Denver this past weekend to pick up the new windows - two for the bathroom and three for the kitchen. The existing bathroom had just one which will remain about the same size with a reeded glass in the bottom panel (The reeding piece is not installed yet in these pics) and then an awning window over the tub/shower.
The husband encouraged me to go for a prefabricated insert for the shower but I just couldn't do it. We also finally decided to have a tub and shower combo because there are just times when you want to take a bath - even if they are few and far between. We bought this Americast tub in Denver and had it delivered - this is our driveway.
We realized that our plumbing budget would have to increase by four since the old plumbing is kaput. See the sewage pipe in this pic on right - completely rotted out.
